Patricia Santoro Masterclass

Ever since she was little, Patty loved to scribble and draw faces, especially the eyes. She paid a lot of attention to the eyes, believing they were the windows to a being's soul.
Patty grew up in a beautiful city called Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay. With its beautiful shores, clean air and green surroundings. Unfortunately, she never felt like she fit in and was constantly searching for something else, somewhere else. Eventually, she ended up in Taiwan, Asia. Over the course of twenty years, she has learned and grown a lot. She has also taught countless people how to create and give life to a raw ball of clay and fondant. What will students learn?
This is an intermediate-level course for character modelling. In this course, we will learn how to create a whimsical fantasy character and model long and thin arms and legs using wire support. We will also learn to model the head, proportions, facial expressions, and make shoes and clothing for the character. Additionally, we will learn how to create a stuffed rabbit toy.
Day 1
We will cover a dummy with modelling paste to create the texture for the base. Then, we will focus on modelling the head, ensuring that the proportions and facial features are correct. We will also give the character a unique expression and personality. Additionally, we will model the body and extremities, create shoes, and make a stuffed rabbit. Finally, we will let all the pieces dry until they are firm.
Day 2
We will craft the doll's hairstyle and assemble the body and limbs. Then we will paint it, make undergarments, a dress, and an apron, and add finishing touches.

Patricia Santoro Masterclass 2 - Steam Punk Clown

What students will learn:
This is an advanced-level course on character modelling. Throughout the course, we will learn how to create a fantasy character using various modelling techniques. From simple to complex, we will learn how to make all body parts individually and assemble them, including facial expressions, clothing such as pants, shirts, jackets, hats, and other decorations. Additionally, we will learn how to decorate the character using edible paint and coloured dust to apply finishing touches and details.
Day 1
We will start by creating a base and giving it a wooden texture. Next, we will sculpt the head and focus on refining the facial expressions, proportions, and details, such as carving eyes, adding tiny lashes, and painting the eyes and face to achieve a three-dimensional effect. After that, we will sculpt the body using a styrene dummy, cover it with modelling paste, and then model the legs and boots. Finally, we will allow all the pieces to dry until they are firm and ready to use.
Day 2
We will sculpt the fondant covered styrene to create the hat, then apply the hair, clock, arms, hands, pants, shirt, and vest, and finish with detailing.
