We are thrilled to announce that Robert Haynes from the UK will be visiting to teach some incredible sugar flower projects in June and early July.

Robert Haynes founded the Sugar Flower Studio in London, UK, where he shares his passion and skills for creating beautiful sugar flowers. He is a renowned sugar craft artist who regularly travels the world to teach classes, provide personalized training sessions, and demonstrate his unique techniques. Robert is an accredited British Sugar Craft Guild demonstrator and a member of the International Cake Exploration Society (ICES-USA). Recently, he was given the title of an "Artist of Excellence" and invited to represent the International team for the FIPGC. Robert's works have been featured in several magazines and publications worldwide, and he offers numerous online tutorials. He is working on his first book and expanding his range of distinctive veiners and cutters sold under his brand, Sugar Flower Studio. Robert Haynes 3-Day Masterclass 1 - Mock Orange & others

Robert has curated a 3-day sugar flower course that includes crafting Mock Orange, Avalanche Rose, and Dendrobium Orchid. The course aims to enhance the knowledge and experience of sugar flower crafting. Robert will generously share and teach the techniques to the students, leveraging his expertise, knowledge, and attention to detail. His passion for sugar flower crafting is evident, and the class will cover how to cut petals and leaves to achieve lifelike results. These techniques can be applied to any sugar flower or leaf.
 

Additionally, the class will explore various techniques for using edible colouring and applying it to intricately textured petals, leaves, and unopened buds. Robert advises wearing light-coloured clothing during the class to minimize the risk of lint or fibres staining the sugar paste. He also recommends removing jewellery before the class begins.

🔸 All about glazing, steaming

📌 The tuition fee includes Simply Nature & Sugar Flower Studio botanically correct silicone veiners and corresponding cutters for the class, valued at over HK$1,900.
